Our exhibition about the biodiversity of Italy is back!

Bringing fireflies, lampreys, and Bosnian pines into the halls of MAXXI is not something that happens every day. We are grateful to National Geographic Italy for trusting us with such an important event, made possible thanks to the support of the National Research Council and the National Biodiversity Future Center. Sharing the stories of often-overlooked animals and plants in such a prestigious place is one of the core reasons our project exists. The exhibition will remain open until the end of February, and admission is free.

Exhibition in Rome!

Much of our work on the Mediterranean is featured in this exhibition, held from 20 January to 30 April in Rome, at the CNR headquarters. Organized by National Geographic Italy in collaboration with the National Biodiversity Future Center, it celebrates Italy’s biodiversity. You can find visiting information on this website.

Live presentations: a visual journey through the Mediterranean biodiversity and its challenges

From October to December 2024, we presented our project in several venues,
including the prestigious GDT Festival in Lünen, Germany.

The photographs from our project are featured in a large story on Mediterranean biodiversity
and the challenges for its conservation, published in the June 2024 issue.
